Complete Ace of the Diamond: Act II Filler List Guide – Skip Episodes Like a Pro

Ace of the Diamond (Diamond no Ace) is widely considered one of the greatest sports anime ever, and I absolutely agree. For me, it’ll always be my #2, right under Haikyu!!

The original series started in October 2013 and ran for two seasons before taking a major break. In 2019, Ace of the Diamond came back with Act II and a third season.

Ace of the Diamond series has a total of 178 episodes across all 3 seasons (Act I and Act II). Of these 178 episodes, five (2.8%) are complete fillers and two (1.12%) are partial fillers. Luckily, the anime is mostly canon with 171 canon episodes (96.08%).

The production team at Madhouse and I.G has done a great job with this anime. Not only is the quality great but the so-called “five fillers” are just recaps for people who were watching weekly at the time.

3. Which Diamond no Ace Act II fillers can you skip?

Filler episodes of Diamond No Ace: Act II are just recaps to help you catch up with the series. They aren’t important at all so you can skip them if you’re binging all three seasons. The mixed canon/filler episodes are however unskippable but that’s just two episodes.

I am sure you can handle that much!

4. Will there be an Ace of the Diamond season 4?

As per the official sources, Ace of the Diamond will continue and get a fourth series. While there’s plenty of source material left, there’s no official timeline for when we’ll get the fourth season. We are expecting a update regarding the production of season 4 this year.

About Ace of the Diamond: Act II

After making it to the Finals of the National High School Baseball Tournament in their first year, Seidou High’s baseball team returns for their second season with lofty expectations. However, they suffer a crushing defeat early on that shakes their confidence.

Eijun Sawamura and the others must overcome this setback as the second-year members take on greater leadership roles. New first-year players like the hard-hitting Kominato Haruichi join the fray, injecting new energy and rivalries into the team.
