Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day (Series)

Meiko “Menma” Honma, Jinta’s childhood friend, shows up one sweltering summer day and badgers him to fulfil a long-forgotten wish.

She finds it annoying that he ignores her, but he’s not really bothered because Menma passed away years ago.

Jinta initially believes that he is just hallucinating because of the scorching heat of summer, but he eventually comes to believe that what he is seeing is actually Menma’s ghost.
