Aquarion EVOL is a sequel season to the original anime, Genesis of Aquarion. The second season aired in 2012 and was set 12,000 years after the “Genesis of Aquarion” finale.

For the most part, the EVOL carries the same theme as Genesis of Aquarion but with an original and engaging plot.

This time, our portagonists are protecting their planet , Vega, against the invaders from a sister-planet known as Altair. The defendants of Vega include our hero Sora and several other brave hearts with an ability to fly and pilot mechas called Aquaria.

Will they be able to defeat Altair-ians and save Vega? Let’s find out.
