Cardcaptor Sakura

In Tomoeda, ten-year-old Sakura Kinomoto is a typical fourth-grader until she discovers a mysterious deck of cards called “The Clow.” As she mulls over her revelation, she inadvertently sends the cards flying throughout the town in a magical wind.

The Beast of the Seal, Keroberos, also known as “Kero,” is awakened by the accident and informs Sakura that she has freed the magical “Clow Cards” that the sorcerer Clow Reed had made. Clow had sealed the Cards away because of their extraordinary power and their capacity for independent action. The Cards are a serious threat to the world now that they have been released, and Sakura must stop them.
