Earwig and the Witch

St. Morwald’s Home for Children is a cosy haven for displaced orphans, with spacious windows adorning its immaculate halls. Since she has everyone at the orphanage at her fingertips, 10-year-old Aya is more than happy to live without a typical family.

Aya quickly discovers that she has actually been adopted by a real witch who had no intention of becoming her foster mother and only wanted her as an assistant. Aya is given the one rule she must always follow—never bother the Mandrake—as if that weren’t enough. It is not an easy task to win over the hearts of the grumpy Mandrake and this seemingly heartless witch, but unlike other kids, Aya takes on this challenge head-on.
