Grave of the Fireflies

Due to malnutrition and illness, Seita and Setsuko, who are orphaned and homeless, are forced to float aimlessly over the countryside. Along the road, they encounter the indifference of adults and discover that even the most compassionate individuals can become harsh in dire situations. However, their young optimism endures in the face of unrelenting adversity, keeping the twins from quickly falling prey to an inevitable fate.
