The “Hetalia” franchise is one of the best political satires and the brain-child of Hidekaz Himaruya. It was originally published as a web-comic under “Hetalia: Axis Powers” and later adapted into various media formats, including manga and anime.

Produced by Studio Deen, the anime adaptation was first aired in 2009. Over the years, it has seen multiple seasons and iterations, each offering a slightly different take on historical events and international relations.

The series provides a satirical take on world history and geopolitical events by personifying countries as human characters with distinct personalities that reflect national stereotypes.
