Ponyo

A goldfish floats away on the back of a jellyfish after slinking away from home. Sousuke, a five-year-old boy who lives with his mother Lisa in a house by the sea while his father Koichi works on a fishing boat, rescues her after she gets stuck in a glass jar and drifts to the shore.

She grows arms and legs with the help of the power from Sousuke’s blood and makes her way back to the surface. However, the magic discharged into the ocean throws nature out of balance, causing the tides to become dangerously stronger and the Moon to begin to fall out of orbit. In order to

restore order to the world and allow his companion to survive, Sousuke must pass an ancient test after being reunited with Ponyo.
