■ Haru Yoshioka, a high school student, finds life’s routine boring. She prevents a truck from running over Prince Lune of the Cat Kingdom one day. The Cat King offers her “presents” as a thank you and extends an invitation for her to marry Lune in the Cat Kingdom.
A mysterious voice tells Haru to look for the Cat Bureau while she mulls over how to get out of the situation.
Haru grows increasingly feline the more she participates in the Cat Kingdom’s events. She quickly discovers, much to her dismay, that she might permanently transform into a cat if she cannot discover who she really is. Through her experiences with cats, Haru discovers more about herself.
